Terms of use
License
Tyberis grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the app only as hosted by Tyberis at app.tyberis.com, for personal, non-commercial purposes. Professional or organizational use is permitted only for one 30-day evaluation, must not be used in production or relied on operationally, and must stop afterward unless Tyberis grants a commercial license in writing.
No right is granted to download, save, copy, extract, install, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, inspect, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, derive from, mirror, self-host, republish, distribute, sublicense, sell, or otherwise use the app, its software, fingerprints, technology, or materials outside the Tyberis-hosted service. Temporary technical files created automatically by a browser solely to access the hosted service do not grant any additional right. These restrictions apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for your use of the app, your decisions, your audio and fingerprints, and every permission, license, consent, and legal requirement that applies to content you import, monitor, or recognize. You must not misuse the app, infringe rights, evade restrictions, disrupt the service, resell it, or provide it to third parties.
Tyberis rights
The app, technology, design, documentation, names, and related rights belong to Tyberis or its licensors. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Tyberis may measure and analyze how the app is used, including general usage patterns, feature use, counts, performance, errors, and technical information, and may use service providers for those purposes.
Disclaimer
The app and demo materials are provided free of charge, “as is,” and “as available.” Recognition may be wrong, incomplete, delayed, or unavailable, and local data may be lost. Do not rely on the app for legal, safety, compliance, payment, evidence, or other important decisions. Tyberis may change, restrict, or discontinue the app at any time.
Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TYBERIS AND ITS OWNERS, CONTRIBUTORS, LICENSORS, PROVIDERS, AND REPRESENTATIVES DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES AND WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, CLAIM, COST, LOST DATA, LOST REVENUE, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, MISSED OR INCORRECT RECOGNITION, OR RELIANCE ON THE APP. NOTHING EXCLUDES LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED.
Changes and law
Tyberis may update these terms by posting a revised version here. Changes apply to use after their effective date. Swiss law applies. Subject to mandatory law, the courts of the Canton of Lucerne, Switzerland have exclusive jurisdiction. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Local storage and privacy
Your imported audio, microphone audio, fingerprint content, and the identity of recognized audio are processed locally in your browser and are not intentionally sent to Tyberis. The browser stores fingerprints and basic app preferences on your device so the app can work between visits. Original imported and microphone audio is not retained by the app.
Each page load creates a random session identifier that is held only in memory and disappears when the page is closed or reloaded. Tyberis receives this identifier with aggregate session information such as the app version, broad browser family, session and listening duration, fingerprint count, imports, recognitions, and coarse error categories. Cloudflare adds the approximate country and the datacenter serving the request. Tyberis uses this information to operate, protect, understand, improve, and develop the service. It is not used to recognize a browser across separate visits.
The app is hosted through Cloudflare, which may process ordinary request and security information such as IP address, request details, device information, and timing. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
Browser storage remains until you delete it, clear site data, or the browser removes it. Tyberis cannot recover local data for you. Session and technical information is retained only as reasonably needed for aggregate service analysis, security, and legal requirements. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data held by Tyberis.
